Message from HOD

Namaste! Welcome to our webpage. The Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Tirupati hosts faculty working in all areas of electrical engineering, including power systems and drives, microelectronics and VLSI, control and instrumentation, communication and networking, RF and microwave, signal processing, computer vision, and machine learning. We have established state-of-the-art lab facilities for teaching and research in these domains. We are supported by an excellent team of technical staff who are well-trained to operate advanced lab equipment. Our B. Tech curriculum has been carefully designed to provide an all-round theoretical as well as practical knowledge of electrical engineering to our students. Additionally, there is scope for students to specialize in any of the topics by carefully planning their elective courses during higher semesters. Our students are thus well prepared to work on the interdisciplinary projects of the industry and as well pursue higher education in any of the specializations of their interest.
